Things happened since I last posted a journal. Nothing important or special, but I still feel a need to share useless information with you people (and your mothers. I know you're reading this.
So this is what happened in last few months:
- I discovered The Good Wife. I'd been told it was good, but it is much, much better than expected. It's brilliant. All the characters are amazing (except the kids, they're kinda annoying). I can't choose a favourite character/actor because they are all great. The stories are quite interesting too.
So after watching one episode per day for two weeks on the tv, I realized I needed more. I wanted to catch up with the episodes being released in the US. So I started downloading them and watching 1 or 2 in the weekdays and 4 or 5 in the weekend. After two weeks in which besides TGW I only watched Bones and Fringe I was updated. (I watched 15 episodes one weekend - that's more than 10 hours). I've been accompanying the show at the same pace they are released and that's great.
However, I can't believe I have to wait two more weeks to see a new episode. I wanna see Alicia confronting
- Hannah's gone! More than two months ago, but I still celebrate!
And, I'm finally immune to spoilers and teases. Something big will happen that changes everything? I'll party when I see it. No high expectations, no big disappointments.
- Fringe is the best series on television. I'll fight whoever says otherwise.
I can't believe I'm really saying this, but if something good does't happen in Bones till the season finale, I'm replacing the spot of my "Number 1" with Fringe (if they don't kill Present-Olivia, Future-Olivia can happen).
- School is boring. I won't share the details but only 15% of my classes are less boring. And I'm including math in those 15%, so it's that bad!
- The Primeval episode we're Jenny Lewis returns was the best!!!
Well, to be completely honest, story-wise it was the poorest. However, only the fact that Lucy Brown was there. being awesome, gives the episode the title of "Best of the Season"
- Two (maybe three?) weekends ago I had a little Criminal Minds marathon. Because I wanted to see Paget's last episode as soon as possible, I started with episode 13 and finished with episode 18, "Lauren", Spoilers! in which we say goodbye to Emily Prentiss... NOT! She's not really dead! No more spoilers!
Which, in turn, leads me to the next point:
- CBS is ran my morons. That's the only reason I can think of to justify this (in short):
1. They fire AJ Cook between season 5 and 6 and reduce Paget Brewster's contract, saying it's her last season.
2. Obviously, the fans don't like it, they know it's a terrible idea, but what else can they do?
3. JJ get's a farewell after all, two episodes in the beginning of season 6.
4. Meanwhile, they introduce a new character that doesn't belong there, They are an elite team, she just left the FBI Academy! It doesn't matter if her father is one of the greatest serial killers ever!!
5. By now, they want Paget back next week. The thing is, she already has a pilot on the works. That may mean Emily Prentiss may not return to our screens any time soon.
6. And last week, AJ signed a contract for the next two seasons!
WTF CBS?? What. The. Fuck? They messed up a great team and now they're trying to fix it. That's not how that works! I can't express my frustrations properly, so I'll leave you with this question: "Are these people idiots?"
- The 3rd season of Fringe started last week! YAY! I was happily surprised when I saw it!
Oh, I'm also (re)starting this old projects I never finished.
That's all for now, see you all later!
